Deirdre has been performing as a professional violinist for over 15 years, working with international artists across the globe such as Michael Buble, Andrea Boccelli, Josh Groban, Kygo & as well as Irish artists such as Westlife, The Divine Comedy, Nathan Carter, Daniel O’Donnell, Declan O’Rourke, Paddy Casey, Tommy Fleming, King Kong Company, Jack L, Damien Dempsey, Finbar Furey and many more. She has performed on The late late show, The Saturday Night Show, The Voice and at festivals such as Electric Picnic, All Together Now, Body & Soul & Latitude in the UK. She has toured as lead violinist for many years with Tommy Fleming, Declan O'Rourke and Phil Coulter and is currently touring with pianist Frank Mc Namara performing a series of Candlelight classical concerts all over Ireland.

Classically trained, Deirdre performs as an orchestral and chamber musician regularly with both RTE orchestras and has performed in productions such as Wexford Festival Opera & Wide Open Opera and Irish National Opera.

Deirdre is a member of the Leinster String Quartet who are one of the most sought after string quartets for weddings, recordings and corporate events. They specialize in giving contemporary songs a classical twist with their extensive and cutting edge repertoire.

Qualifications: Deirdre holds a Masters Degree in Music Performance at the prestigious Royal Irish Academy of Music. Prior to this she completed her Bachelors of Music at DIT
receiving the highest mark in performance.
